Our client, a busy clothing alterations business based in Sydney, is seeking an experienced Clothing Alterations Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precise, high-quality work and enjoys helping customers feel confident in their clothes.
 
Role overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of garment alterations, including:

• Hemming pants, skirts and dresses
• Taking in and letting out garments
• Shortening sleeves and straps
• Zip replacements and minor repairs
• Adjustments to school uniforms and everyday wear
• Occasional formal and special-occasion alterations

Candidate profile
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in clothing alterations or tailoring
• Confidence using industrial and domestic sewing machines
• Strong attention to detail and high-finish standards
• Reliability and the ability to work independently
• A friendly, professional approach with customers
