We are looking for a Part-Time Podcast Video Editor based in Australia video editing skills, exceptional attention to detail and a good sense of humour.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for video editing across a number of podcasts that release every couple of days.  

The right candidate will have a superb eye for finer details. They must be confident working to deadlines, an excellent communicator and have the ability to move seamlessly between projects.

This is a mostly remote role, with the support of a marketing team and guidence from the Director.

Reponsibilities

• Video editing of podcasts using Riverside
• Creating vertical video snippets for social media from the long-form video that is engaging
• Ability to navigate business organisational software (Riverside, Google Suite etc)
• Uploading completed videos to applicable video host/s
• Prompt communication with clients via email regarding episode status and feedback
• Scheduling of publications with guests and the respective platforms
• Create eye catching episode titles and text

 
Who You Are

• Must have experience in video editing
• Riverside experience is a bonus, but not a requirement (on-the-job training provided)
• A strong understanding of the podcast industry is preferable and the role video plays in this space
• Exceptionally organised with a high level of attention to detail
• Likes working remotely and thrives in a remote team environment
• Must have a sense of humour

We appreciate that work isn't your whole life and we encourage you to have other interests. Most of our team are part-time or casual employees that work between 15 - 30 hours a week. The rest of the time we do whatever floats our respective boats.
We believe that creativity comes most easily when there is plenty of time for rest and adventure away from our desks.
