A well-established metal fabrication company whose major works involve structural steel, architectural metal and various other metal works.

We work along side a number of various Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction companies. We have delivered quality works for a number of high-end projects throughout Sydney.

The Role:

Due to a solid workload, we are currently seeking an experienced estimator to join our team in Wetherill Park.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Seeking new suppliers and / or methods of manufacturing to improve competitiveness and costing.
• Source and identify tender opportunities
• Use appropriate tools to accumulate costing and estimation of material, equipment and labour
• Maintaining accurate records of estimates and costs
• Liaise with Clients, suppliers and fabricators
• Collating and analysing market information

To excel in the position, ideally you will have:

• Minimum 2 years experience as an estimator in the industry
• Previous estimating experience in a related field would be desirable
• Effective time management
• Able to read civil, mechanical, structural and shop drawings
• CAD and Tekla experience desirable
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Demonstrate a good attitude and work ethic
