CNC Machinist - Milling
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Pay: £16.50-£18.00 per hour negotiable
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Day shift
Hunters 4 Staff, are assisting our client in the Newcastle area of Stoke on Trent in recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist who is ideally experienced in Milling to join a busy engineering company who work in some exciting industries on a day shift:

What you'll be doing
- Setting and operating CNC milling
- Assisting with job setups
- Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
- Producing high‑quality parts for new and repeat jobs
- Carrying out basic checks and adjustments to maintain quality
- Supporting day‑to‑day problem solving on the shop floor
- If you have offline programming experience with CADCAM this would be an advantage
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller
- Ability to set and operate CNC machines confidently
- Turning candidates must have some programming experience
- Experience with controls such as Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens or Heidenhain
- Reliable, practical people who can work with minimal supervision
