Pay: Negotiable, depending on experience
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 1:30pm Friday
Overtime: Weekend overtime available when required
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting on behalf of a specialist steel fabrication and engineering company based in Nottingham. The business designs, manufactures and installs bespoke metal and structural products for a range of industries, including signage, architectural metalwork and structural steel projects.
We're looking for an experienced Fabricator to join the workshop team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working on varied and interesting projects.
Key Responsibilities - Fabricate stainless steel components to a high standard
- Work from digital drawings and customer specifications
- Build bespoke structures for signage, architectural metalwork and structural projects
- Cut, shape and assemble materials using workshop tools and machinery
- Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards
- Support colleagues across different projects as workload requires
Requirements - Previous fabrication experience, ideally working with stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret technical and digital drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, positive approach with a strong work ethic
