Hunters 4 Staff is recruiting for a hands-on Yard Controller / Valeter to join a busy commercial vehicle operation in Nottingham. This is a varied role where you'll play a key part in keeping the yard safe, organised, and running efficiently while ensuring vehicles are presented to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily yard checks to ensure the site remains safe, tidy, organised, and operational.
- Clean, valet, and prepare commercial vehicles to a high standard before collection or delivery.
- Inspect vehicles and ancillary equipment, including tail lifts, identifying and reporting defects promptly.
- Support the rental team by checking vehicles in and out accurately and efficiently.
- Organise vehicle movements around the yard to ensure vehicles are accessible and ready when needed.
- Welcome customers, suppliers, and visitors professionally and assist with vehicle handovers and deliveries.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- HGV Class C licence as a minimum requirement.
- Good verbal communication and numerical skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and positive approach to work.
