Welder Location: Cheadle, Staffordshire
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm | Friday: 8:00am-3:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a Welder on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Cheadle, Staffordshire. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a straightforward welding role, with most of the work carried out using jigs and simple fabrication processes. The position starts on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG welding on a range of metal components
- Work from jigs and simple engineering drawings
- Assemble and weld products to required quality standards
- Perform basic quality checks on completed work
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
- Support the wider production team as required
Requirements
- Previous MIG welding experience
- Ability to work accurately and consistently
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
