CMM Programmer / Inspector
Location: Gloucester, GL2
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday

Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for an experienced CMM Programmer / Inspector on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Gloucester.
This is a hands-on role for someone who already has strong Aberlink CMM programming experience and can confidently work independently from day one.
Working within a busy engineering environment, you'll be responsible for inspecting precision-engineered components, creating inspection programmes, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met across one-off and low-volume production work.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and operate an Aberlink CMM to inspect precision-engineered components
- Create, edit and maintain CMM inspection programmes
- Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection checks
- Inspect components against engineering drawings, CAD data and customer specifications
- Record inspection results accurately and produce quality reports where required
- Identify quality concerns and work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues
Requirements
- Proven experience programming and operating an Aberlink CMM (essential)
- Strong background in CMM inspection within a precision engineering environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances
- Experience inspecting one-off and low-volume manufactured components
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
