PPT - POWERED PALLET TRUCK DRIVER
Location: Foston (easily accessible from Burton upon Trent, Uttoxeter, Derby and surrounding villages)
Pay Rate: £13.09 - £13.91 per hour
Hours: Days: 06:00 - 14:30 or Backs: 14:00 - 22:30
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Hunters 4 Staff is recruiting a Powered Pallet Truck Driver for our client based in Foston. If you have experience operating a PPT and enjoy working in a busy warehouse environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team with the potential for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Powered Pallet Truck safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload trailers while following site procedures
- Support goods-in and dispatch operations
- Move stock accurately to designated locations
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Report any equipment faults, damages or safety concerns promptly
Requirements
- Valid Powered Pallet Truck licence accredited by ITSSAR or RTITB
- Previous experience operating a PPT in a warehouse environment
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards
