Kitting Administrator - Laser Department
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Kitting Administrator to join their team in Longton.
This is a busy office-based role supporting the laser department by managing and organising Bills of Materials (BOMs). You'll play an important part in keeping production running smoothly by ensuring accurate data, maintaining spreadsheets, and supporting planning activities. This position would suit someone with excellent Excel skills, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work with large volumes of information accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the laser department
- Manage and organise production data using Excel and internal systems
- Ensure material and component information is accurate and up to date
- Support production planning by providing accurate kitting information
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies quickly and efficiently
- Work closely with production, planning, and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills are essential
- Previous experience working with Bills of Materials (BOMs) or production data would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Confident communicator who can work effectively with different departments
