Transport Administrator
Location: Marchington
Pay Rate: £16.85 per hour
Contract Type: temp to perm
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 10.00pm - 06.00 am
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a busy warehouse operation in Marchington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple tasks while supporting transport and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities - Manage inbound and outbound stock systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times.
- Liaise with clients regarding deliveries, collections, stock movements, and transport queries.
- Coordinate drivers and daily transport activities, ensuring schedules are maintained.
- Use JDA, Qargo, and Samsara systems to monitor stock movements, vehicle activity, and transport performance.
- Investigate and resolve transport, delivery, and stock-related issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with warehouse and transport teams.
Requirements - Previous administration experience within transport, logistics, or warehousing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and drivers.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience using JDA, Qargo, Samsara, or similar transport management systems is highly desirable.
