CNC Skilled Setter / Operator Location: Brownhills
Pay Rate: Up to £15.40 per hour (DOE)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 06:00-15:30, Friday 06:00-10:00
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for an experienced CNC Skilled Setter / Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based at their Toll Point facility in Brownhills. Key Responsibilities - Set and operate CNC milling and turning machines using engineering setup sheets
- Load, prove and run CNC programs using FANUC controls
- Set tooling and make accurate offset adjustments to maintain production quality
- Inspect components throughout production to ensure tolerances and quality standards are met
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and daily safety checks
Requirements - Minimum 3 years' experience as a CNC Setter / Operator
- Experience working with CNC mills and lathes
- Good knowledge of FANUC controls
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances within low to medium batch production environments
Advantageous but not essential:
- Jib or overhead crane experience
- Cylindrical grinding experience
