Stores Operative / FLT Driver
Location: Stoke-on-Trent Salary: Semi-Skilled: £13.87 per hour | Fully Skilled: £14.47 per hour Contract: Temp to perm Working Hours: Days
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a Stores Operative with an FLT Licence to join a busy and well-established site in Longton. This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse and stores duties with forklift truck work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Loading, unloading and moving stock safely around the site using an FLT
Picking, packing and preparing materials for production and dispatch
Carrying out general stores and warehouse duties
Completing stock checks and maintaining accurate records
Keeping the stores area clean, organised and safe
Supporting the wider team with manual handling and day-to-day operational tasks
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or logistics environment
Comfortable with manual handling and physical work throughout the shift
Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team
Good attention to detail and a strong focus on health and safety
