Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm | Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for an experienced Inventory Controller / Materials Planner to join our client in Uttoxeter. This highly visible role requires planning and expediting parts in line with market demands, scheduling from a complex supply chain, and ensuring continuity of supply. A real sense of urgency, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong cross-functional communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities - Manage material requirements planning to ensure a continuous supply of parts and materials.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, balancing availability with stock optimisation and waste reduction.
- Maintain and update planning parameters including lead times, safety stock levels, reorder points, and minimum order quantities.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Warehousing, and Sales teams to align stock availability with business requirements.
- Track supplier performance, expedite deliveries where needed, and proactively resolve supply issues.
- Maintain accurate ERP system data and report on inventory and supply chain KPIs.
Requirements - Previous experience in a Materials Planner, Inventory Controller, Supply Chain Planner, or similar role.
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Well organised, able to prioritise tasks, and comfortable working to deadlines.
