Production Administrator / Planner
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking to add a Production Administrator / Planner to their team. This is an important role supporting production operations, stock control and planning activities to help keep the factory running efficiently.
If you're organised, confident with spreadsheets and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this could be a great opportunity to build your planning and production experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily production planning activities and help maintain production schedules
- Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages or potential issues
- Maintain accurate production data, reports and spreadsheets
- Liaise with internal departments regarding production priorities and order progress
- Review factory order books, chase outstanding jobs and support scheduling activities
- Help improve planning processes and departmental efficiency across the business
What We're Looking For
- Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Excel and other spreadsheet-based systems
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be an advantage
- Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with different teams
- Well organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
