Job Title: Pre Delivery Inspector
Location: Marchington Pay Rate: £13.48 per hour Contract Type: Temporary Working Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm
About the Role
Hunters 4 Staff are working with a busy logistics operation in Marchington, near Uttoxeter looking for a reliable and detail-focused Pre Delivery Inspector. This is a hands-on role where accuracy matters, you'll be making sure goods are correct, in good condition, and ready to move through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, defects, and accuracy
Check deliveries against manifests, delivery notes, and purchase orders
Count and verify pallet quantities before dispatch
Record stock and inspection details using paperwork and warehouse systems
Report any discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods promptly
Prepare, label, and organise stock ready for dispatch
