Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
2 x 10-minute paid breaks
1 x 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join a prestigious engineering company based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a skilled machinist or inspector with strong quality experience and the ability to program CMM machines from CAD models. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring precision-engineered components meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out detailed inspection of precision-engineered components.
Program and operate CMM machines using CAD models.
Produce accurate inspection reports and quality documentation.
Investigate and identify quality issues, supporting corrective actions.
Ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality performance.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, CMM Programmer, or experienced Machinist with inspection knowledge.
Ability to program CMM machines from CAD models.
Experience using PC-DMIS software is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and measurement techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
