ACCA Accountant - Trainee, Newly Qualified or Experienced
Location: Blythe Bridge, Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £28,000 - £42,000 depending on qualification and experience
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full or Part time - Hybrid available for full time 


Hunters 4 Staff are working with an expanding, friendly accountancy practice in Blythe Bridge that is expanding its team and is open to speaking with accountants at a range of levels.
 
Whether you're an ACCA trainee approaching qualification, newly qualified and working towards your two-year sign-off, or an experienced ACCA-qualified accountant, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a practice that genuinely values flexibility and is willing to shape the role around the right person.

The Opportunity

The role is fully flexible with part or full time hours available with hybrid options for full time.

• ACCA trainees: Salary of £28,000 plus study days.
• Newly qualified ACCA accountants: If you have recently qualified and are awaiting completion of your two-year in-house sign-off, the practice can support and complete this for you. Salary around £35,000.
• Experienced ACCA-qualified accountants: Salaries of up to £42,000, depending on your experience and level of responsibility.

What You'll Be Doing
 
The exact responsibilities will depend on your level of experience, but could include:

• Preparing accounts and financial statements
• Bookkeeping and management accounts
• Preparing tax returns
• Supporting clients with their accounting requirements
• Working with year-end accounts, budgets and cashflows
• Liaising directly with clients and developing strong working relationships
• Reviewing accounts and supporting junior or trainee team members where appropriate
• Providing commercially focused, practical advice to clients
• Taking responsibility for your own portfolio of clients as your experience develops

What We're Looking For
 
The key requirement is ACCA qualification or a clear route towards ACCA qualification, alongside previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
