Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a Shot Blaster to join a well-established manufacturer of lorry trailers and bodies in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a hands-on role working within a busy production environment, preparing trailers and components for the paint spraying process. If you have experience in shot blasting and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Operate shot blasting equipment safely and efficiently
Prepare lorry trailers and vehicle bodies prior to paint spraying
Inspect surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards
Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Keep work areas clean, organised, and free from hazards
Requirements
Previous shot blasting, industrial cleaning, or surface preparation experience preferred
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Good attention to detail and quality standards
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Willingness to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
