MIG/TIG Welder - Day Shift - Immediate Start Location: Brownhills
Pay Rate: From £13.00 per hour (DOE)
Contract Type: Temp to Ongoing
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm | Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company in Brownhills. This is a great opportunity for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder looking for stable, full-time day shift work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Working as part of a skilled and supportive team, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality welding work while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard on a variety of engineering projects.
- Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications where required.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and safe.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Own weld mask, safety boots/shoes and flame-retardant clothing.
- Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work.
