Production Operative - Foundry

�� Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
�� Contract Type: Temp to Perm
�� Working Hours: Day shifts 8.00 - 16.30 and 8.00 - 14.30 Fridays
Hunters 4 Staff are looking for reliable and hard-working Production Operatives to join a busy foundry in Ellastone. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop practical skills in a specialist manufacturing environment.
Full training will be provided in linishing and fettling, giving you the chance to learn a skilled trade while working as part of an experienced production team. For the right person, this role offers a clear route to a permanent position.
What You'll Be Doing
- Linishing and fettling metal castings to meet quality standards
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Inspecting finished products and identifying any defects
- Working with colleagues to achieve daily production targets
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and organised
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For - A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Previous production, manufacturing, or foundry experience is helpful but not essential
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Reliable and committed to long-term employment
