CNC Setter / Operator - Turning �� Gloucester �� £16.00 per hour �� Day Shift | Permanent
Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Gloucester who are looking to bring in an experienced CNC setter operator to work on a turning machine on a permanent basis. This is a straightforward, hands-on role where you'll be valued for your skills and supported in a stable environment.
What you'll be doing:
Setting and operating CNC turning machines to specification
Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where needed
Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure consistent output
Reading and working from engineering drawings and blueprints
Working closely with engineers to improve production processes
What we're looking for:
Experience setting and operating CNC Turners
Familiarity with Fanuc controls
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
A reliable, hands-on approach to work
GCSEs or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
