Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Gloucester who are looking to add a skilled CNC Programmer to their team. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of programming and play a key part in improving production efficiency.
What you'll be doing:
Writing, editing and optimising CNC programs for lathe and/or milling machines
Working with Fanuc controls to ensure accurate and efficient machining
Supporting shop floor teams with set-ups and troubleshooting issues
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to create precise programs
Collaborating with engineers to improve processes and reduce cycle times
Carrying out basic prove-outs and making adjustments as needed
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer (lathe or milling)
Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
A practical, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
