Onsite Recruitment Consultant

We're working with a large, well-established and continuously growing business in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for an experienced Onsite Recruitment Consultant to join their team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be based on-site, supporting day-to-day recruitment needs and acting as the main link between the business, agencies, and candidates.
It's a varied role where no two days are the same - perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, keeping things organised, and making recruitment run smoothly from start to finish.
What you'll be doing:
- Liaising closely with external recruitment agencies to manage supply and performance
- Building strong working relationships with hiring managers and internal teams
- Managing direct applications, including screening and shortlisting candidates
- Writing and posting job adverts across relevant platforms
- Arranging and coordinating interviews
- Overseeing onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth start for new hires
- Managing pre-employment checks including drug & alcohol (D&A) testing
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within an onsite or high-volume environment
- Confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of compliance and pre-employment screening processes is a plus
