About the Role
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for an Electrical Improver / Electrician's Mate to support experienced electricians on commercial and industrial projects across the UK.
This is a hands-on role for someone with electrical installation experience who is happy to travel and work away when required. You'll be joining a growing business that genuinely invests in its people, offering training, development, and clear opportunities to progress your career.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of conduit, trunking, cable tray and containment systems.
Support small power and lighting installations on commercial and industrial sites.
Run and pull cables as directed by qualified electricians.
Assist with gas detection installations, including conduit, tray work, SWA cabling and 24V systems.
Support the installation and removal of medical pendants, including associated lighting and power components.
Work safely and professionally on customer sites across the UK.
Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Valid CSCS or ECS Card (essential).
Experience with conduit, trunking, containment, small power, lighting and cable installation.
Willingness to work away from home on a regular basis.
Reliable, practical and keen to learn.
Flexibility to work weekend overtime when required.
