Production Operative - Foundry Location: Stoke-on-Trent Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour Contract Type: Temp to Perm Working Hours: Day shifts with early finish on Fridays
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting production operatives to join a busy and growing foundry team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn a skilled trade, with full training provided in linishing and fettling to help finish metal castings to a high standard. If you're hands-on and willing to learn, this could lead to a long-term, permanent role.
What you'll be doing:
Carrying out linishing and fettling on metal castings
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Ensuring all finished parts meet quality standards
Working closely with the production team to meet targets
Keeping your work area clean and organised
Following health and safety procedures at all times
What we're looking for:
A good work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
Previous manufacturing or production experience (preferred but not essential)
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
Attention to detail and pride in your work
Reliable and able to commit to long-term work
