Customer Service Manager Location: Wednesbury
Pay Rate: £45,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time hours
Hunters 4 Staff are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Wednesbury that specialises in industrial, multi-material packaging solutions. They're now looking for a Customer Service Manager to take ownership of the customer function and lead a small, dedicated team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll shape how the business supports its customers day to day. You'll work closely with other departments to keep things running smoothly, resolve issues quickly, and make sure customers continue to receive a reliable, professional service.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and supporting the customer service team, setting clear expectations and keeping standards high
- Managing customer relationships, handling queries and complaints, and ensuring issues are resolved properly
- Overseeing daily operations, including workflows, stock coordination, and internal communication
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience
- Monitoring performance, analysing service data, and sharing updates with senior management
- Supporting team development through training, feedback, and performance reviews
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a Customer Service Manager (or similar) role
- Strong team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide others
- Confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels
- Organised and practical, with a good handle on prioritising workload
- Experience with customer systems or CRM tools (purchasing knowledge is a bonus)
