Job Title: Metal Finisher (Trainee Opportunities Available)

Pay Rate: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 – 14:00

Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for Metal Finishers / Foundry Operatives to join a well-established foundry in Ellastone. Established in 1966, our client has decades of expertise working with both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, supplying industries such as automotive, aerospace, engineering, food, and architecture.

This is a hands-on, practical role within a busy foundry environment. No previous experience is required – full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career.

We currently have vacancies for Metal Finisher (Fettler) and Caster positions. The Metal Finisher role offers a clear progression pathway, with full training provided to move into a Caster role over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fettling and finishing cast components
• Grinding and linishing to remove excess material
• Supporting mould preparation and casting processes
• Carrying out quality checks
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• No experience needed – full training provided
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Comfortable working in a busy, industrial environment
• Good attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to follow health & safety procedures
• Driving is an advantage due to location
