About the role
Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well-established engineering company in Cheadle who are looking to bring in a reliable Saw Operator / Labourer. This is a hands-on role within a busy fabrication workshop, with training available for the right person. If you're practical, willing to learn and enjoy working as part of a team, this could be a great opportunity to build your skills.
Key responsibilities
Operating saw machinery safely and efficiently (training provided if needed)
Supporting general labouring duties within the fabrication shop and workshop
Assisting with material handling, cutting, and preparation
Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organised
Working alongside the fabrication team to meet production targets
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential
Willingness to learn and take on training
Good work ethic and reliability
Driving licence preferred but not essential
Forklift truck licence preferred but not essential
