About the role
Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well‑established local manufacturer in Cinderford who are continuing to invest in new machinery and modern fabrication processes. They're now looking for a Trainee Welder to join their Trolley Division and learn the trade from the ground up.
This is a genuine entry‑level opportunity for someone who wants a long‑term, hands‑on career in welding and fabrication. You'll receive full MIG welding training and develop your skills as part of a supportive and experienced workshop team.
Key responsibilities
Learn MIG welding through structured, on‑the‑job training
Assist with jig welding and production assembly
Work on the manufacture of bespoke trolleys and fabrication products
Follow drawings, jigs, and instructions accurately
Maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards
Support the wider fabrication team as needed
What we're looking for
A keen attitude and willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Good attention to detail
Comfortable working as part of a team
Any workshop or metalwork experience is helpful, but not essential
