Location: Nottinghamshire Salary: £45,000 per year Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 (including evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
About the Role
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for an experienced Spa & Leisure Manager to lead operations at a fantastic spa set within beautiful countryside surroundings.
This is a senior, hands‑on role where you'll take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of a high‑end spa operation, including treatment rooms, thermal experiences, relaxation areas, and indoor and outdoor pools. The focus is on delivering a consistently excellent guest experience while leading and developing a large, committed team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop the Spa & Leisure team, including therapists and operational staff
Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the spa, ensuring high standards of guest service at all times
Manage treatment schedules and therapist utilisation to maximise revenue
Control departmental budgets, stock levels, and costs while meeting financial targets
Work closely with reservations, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a senior spa or leisure management role
Strong leadership and people management skills
Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and driving revenue
Confident communicator with good organisational skills
Solid knowledge of Health & Safety within a spa or leisure environment
