Body Repairer - Lorry & Trailer Repairs Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Pay: Salary dependent on experience
Contract: Temp to permanent
Hours: Day shift, Monday to Friday (earlier finish on a Friday)
Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well‑established client in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for experienced Body Repairers to join their day shift team. This is hands-on work repairing lorry bodies and trailers, often following accident damage, so we're looking for practical, capable people who know their way around tools and fabrication work.
The role:
- Repairing damaged lorry bodies and trailers following accidents
- Welding work on steel and aluminium components
- Removing and replacing damaged panels and vehicle parts
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensuring all repairs are completed to a high standard and within safety guidelines
What we're looking for:
- Ideally previous experience in vehicle body repair, HGV, trailer, or coach building
- Confident welding skills (MIG essential)
- Good all‑round mechanical and practical ability
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable approach to work and safety
