Ad Hoc Delivery Driver (Bank Work)
Location: National but starting from depot in Ashbourne, DE6 Pay: £12.71 per hour Contract: Temporary / Ad hoc Hours: Flexible - early starts and late finishes required
Hunters 4 Staff are building a reliable bank of delivery drivers to support occasional, ad hoc work from our clients main depot in Ashbourne. This role suits experienced drivers who value flexibility and take pride in representing a business professionally when dealing with customers across the UK.
The role
You'll be responsible for carrying out nationwide deliveries from the Ashbourne depot, sometimes at short notice. Reliability, flexibility and a professional approach are essential, as some of the goods transported are high‑value or sensitive and some are food deliveries.
Key responsibilities
Carrying out UK‑wide deliveries from the Ashbourne depot
Loading and unloading goods safely and responsibly
Representing the company professionally when customer facing
Completing vehicle checks and basic paperwork
Adhering to road safety and company procedures
Being flexible to cover early starts and late finishes when required
What we're looking for
Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
No criminal convictions due to the nature of the goods transported
Smart, professional appearance
Flexible, reliable and dependable approach to work
