Junior Graphic Designer
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent
Pay: Competitive salary, dependent on experience
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well‑established business in Stoke‑on‑Trent, for a Junior Graphic Designer to join their in‑house graphics team.
This is an entry‑level role, ideal for someone at the start of their design career who wants hands‑on experience in a commercial environment, with full training and the chance to progress.
What you'll be doing
- Producing design work in line with established brand guidelines
- Adapting and updating existing artwork, including livery layouts
- Assisting with production design using customer‑supplied artwork
- Editing images and creating visual layouts for different applications
- Preparing artwork for production with correct formats and specifications
- Working closely with senior designers and other teams to meet deadlines
What we're looking for
- A creative or art‑based background (college leaver or entry‑level candidate)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Understanding of core design principles and layout
- Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Able to take feedback and work as part of a team
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience with Figma or Adobe XD
- Awareness of CMYK colour processes, file formats, fonts, and Pantone references
