CNC Operator
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Pay: £15-£16.00 Salary dependent on experience
Contract: Temp to perm
Hours: Day shift, Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday
Hunters 4 Staff are working with a successful, well-established engineering company in Stoke-on-Trent. They're looking for an experienced CNC Operator who can hit the ground running in a busy but well-organised workshop. This is a hands-on role for someone confident in both milling and turning, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
The role
You'll be working on CNC milling and turning machines, producing quality components to spec and supporting the team with day-to-day machining requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and adjust CNC machines
- Check finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Support continuous improvement on the shop floor
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a CNC Milling and Turning Machinist
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, practical and used to working in a production environment
- Able to start quickly and adapt to an existing team
