Quality Engineer - Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £42,000 (DOE) Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time
Hunters 4 Staff are working with a precision engineering client in Stoke-on-Trent, and we're looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team. If you've got a strong background in machining and precision engineering — and you're confident working within a busy inspection room — this could be a great fit.
What you'll be doing
Carrying out inspection using CMM's with PC-DMIS software.
Ensuring all machined components meet strict quality standards.
Supporting root cause analysis and driving corrective actions.
Working closely with production teams to improve processes.
Producing accurate inspection reports and maintaining quality documentation.
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within machining or precision engineering.
Confident using CMM equipment and PC-DMIS software.
Strong understanding of inspection techniques and engineering drawings.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
