Job Title: Recycling Operative
Location: Uttoxeter
Contract: short term contract with possibility of long term contract
Pay: £13.74/hour (Overtime at £20.62/hour)
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Alternate Saturdays: Paid at time and a half

Recycling Operative to work at their client's premises in
Uttoxeter. This role offers competitive pay with opportunities for overtime and is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on, outdoor work.
Role Overview:
As an
Recycling Operative, you will play a key role in the recycling process, sorting and processing packaging materials such as
cardboard, wood, and
polythene. You'll be using
roll packers,
baling machines, and performing general labour tasks both indoors and outdoors. An accredited
FLT licence is
essential for this vacancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating roll packers to break down wood
- Using baling machines to process cardboard and polythene
- Working both inside and outside in all weather conditions
- Other general labour duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar environment is an advantage but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying weather conditions
- Must be reliable and a strong team player
