Health and Safety Quality Manager
 
Location: Based in Tamworth  
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to take ownership of health, safety, and quality across a diverse group of engineering businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the development and implementation of robust health and safety procedures.
• Carrying out and maintaining risk assessments across multiple sites.
• Ensuring full compliance with COSHH,NEBOSH, ISO9001 regulations.
• Conducting regular audits and inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Delivering engaging training and guidance to staff.
• Visiting 9 engineering businesses, covering CNC, welding, and fabrication.
• Building trusted relationships with site managers and teams.
• Reviewing and refreshing policies and procedures.
• Introducing toolbox talks and safety sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in health and safety management.
• Solid understanding of COSHH regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A background in fabrication and steelwork is a bonus—but not essential.
• Relevant health and safety qualifications.
• Willingness to travel across multiple sites.
