Job Title: Foundry Operative
Location: Ellastone
Contract Type: Temp-Perm
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30, Friday: 08:00 – 14:00

Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a Foundry Operative in Ellastone. Established in 1966, our client has decades of experience working with both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. They supply components to key industries including automotive, engineering, aerospace, food, and architecture. This is a hands-on role in a busy foundry environment, ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fettling and finishing cast components
• Linishing and grinding to remove excess material
• Operating band saws and other cutting tools
• Assisting with mould preparation and casting processes
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Previous foundry or metalwork experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to follow health & safety procedures
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
