Job Title: Purchasing Specialist (6-Month FTC)
Location: Uttoxeter
Contract Type: 6-month fixed-term contract with view to extend
Pay Rate: £38,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Full-time
 
Hunters 4 Staff are delighted to be assisting our client, a leading manufacturer, in recruiting a Purchasing Specialist for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Uttoxeter. This exciting role offers the chance to work within a dynamic supply chain team, with the possibility of contract extension.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Source parts from the best suppliers, ensuring top quality and value
• Manage dealer enquiries and provide quotations
• Respond to customer demands, ensuring parts availability and accurate costing
• Maintain and manage supplier relationships within your responsibility area
• Mitigate additional costs for JCB Service
• Re-source parts between suppliers as required
• Introduce new aftermarket suppliers into JCB’s network
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal customer solutions
• Drive improvements towards a more resilient supply chain

• Experienced purchasing or supply chain professional
• Purchasing accreditations (desirable)
• Highly motivated, with strong project leadership experience
• Skilled in supplier negotiations
• Solid supply chain knowledge
• Experienced working with cross-functional teams
• Meticulous and efficient approach to tasks
