Job Title: Electrician
Location: Based 15 miles from High Wycombe ideally – most work is in Watford, Slough, Elstree, and Reading areas (working across the UK and Europe)
Salary: Up to £45K per year
Hours: 11-hour shifts
 
Hunters 4 Staff is recruiting on behalf of our client for 4 experienced Electricians to join their rapidly expanding team, specializing in temporary power and lighting solutions for the TV, Film, and Events industries. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-budget productions for Netflix, Disney, and Warner Bros.
 
Responsibilities:

• Install and test temporary electrical systems in accordance with BS7909 regulations and safely dismantle them after events.
• Provide on-site practical electrician support during events.
• Liaise with clients and colleagues to understand project requirements.
• Plan, create, and modify electrical systems to meet customer needs.
• Test, monitor, and report on the safety of electrical systems.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and PAT testing on hire stock.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Support other aspects of company operations as needed.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations.
• Experience in temporary power or a BS7909 qualification in Temporary Electrical Systems is desirable.
• Forklift, telehandler & IPAF training is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of compliance and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive approach to work.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a variety of locations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Full UK driving license.
• Must be physically fit due to 11-hour shifts.
• Professionalism required due to interactions with high-profile clients.
