Job Title: Electrical Installer
Pay: £21 per hour (starting salary)
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (generally 40-50 hours)

We are seeking an experienced and flexible Electrical Installer to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining a variety of electrical systems across commercial, industrial, agricultural, and domestic sectors. This role involves working with diverse electrical components and systems, with the majority of work (80%) in the commercial and industrial sectors.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Electrical Installations:

• Install lighting and emergency lighting systems
• Set up small power installations
• Install 3-phase power and distribution systems

Cable and Conduit Works:

• Execute conduit, tray, and SWA cable installations
• Ensure all work complies with safety and industry standards

Project Execution:

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues
• Maintain high-quality workmanship across all projects

Flexibility & Mobility:

• Work flexible hours to meet project requirements
• Travel to job sites as needed, including working away from base
• Work weekends as required; Saturday work is paid at time and a third, and Sunday at time and a half

Travel and fuel expenses covered (if using your own vehicle)

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance
• Familiarity with lighting, emergency lighting, small power, 3-phase power, and distribution systems
• Expertise in conduit works, tray works, and SWA cable installations
• Valid driving licence
• ECS card (mandatory)

Work Sectors:

• Commercial & Industrial: 80%
• Agricultural: 15%
• Domestic: 5%
