About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Buyer to join the operational purchasing team at JCB’s World Parts Centre. In this role, you will manage key supplier relationships and ensure parts are sourced efficiently to support JCB’s global network of dealers and customers.
 
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining stock levels, reducing costs, and delivering exceptional service. This is a varied and exciting role in a fast-paced environment where customer focus is key.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Source parts from the best suppliers, ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
• Respond to dealer inquiries, provide accurate quotations, and meet customer demands.
• Manage supplier relationships and introduce new aftermarket suppliers to JCB.
• Re-source parts between suppliers to optimize costs and availability.
• Collaborate with inventory, customer service, and supply chain teams to achieve business goals.
• Use SAP systems to manage workflows and maintain data accuracy.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives, including re-sourcing, localization, and rationalization.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in purchasing or supply chain management (purchasing accreditations are desirable).
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage projects and work with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive and motivated mindset, with a focus on delivering results.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar systems is advantageous.
