Job Title: Assistant Bar Manager
Location: Burton upon Trent
Salary: £30,128 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week (including some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays)
 
Hunters 4 Staff is thrilled to assist in recruiting an Assistant Bars Manager for our esteemed client. This exciting role is perfect for someone with a minimum of 2 years of bar management or hospitality leadership experience, particularly in high-end or event-driven venues. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and profitable bar operations, while consistently delivering top-tier service and upholding health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient service
• Manage designated areas including Long Gallery, Library, Outdoor Spa Terrace, event bars, and patios
• Lead, train, and motivate the bar team through structured development plans
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain service and hygiene quality
• Support stock control and assist with monthly inventory management
• Analyze sales data and assist in managing budgets to meet profit targets
• Develop and implement initiatives to drive sales and revenue growth
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in bar or hospitality management
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team
• Expertise in stock control, sales analysis, and operational efficiencies
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures
