Position: Assistant Centre Administration Officer (with Forklift Ticket)

• $38 - $40 p/h plus Super

Our government client is seeking an Assistant Centre Administration Officer (with Forklift Ticket) to assist with the NSW correctional centers and to join the dynamic and highly motivated Finance & Administration team at MRRC, as Assistant Centre Administration Officer Stores.

The primary purpose of this role is to support senior executives or work teams by providing a range of correctional administrative services and operational support. This may include general administration, executive assistance, finance, procurement, warehousing and stores, or records maintenance. A current forklift licence is essential for this role due to the operational duties within warehousing and stores.

The mandatory requirements are as follows:

• Must Hold current Forklift Licence
• Strong technical skills to help plan and prioritise tasks
• Current driver’s licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle
• Maintain manual and computerised records
• Undertake a variety of correctional administrative duties
• Strong time management and punctuality skills.
• Respond efficiently to all inquiries by stakeholders, customers and clients.
• True team players with a can-do attitude.

Essential Criteria
Appointments are subject to the following checks/ clearances:

• Reference checks
• National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
• Rights to Work in Australia

This assignment is expected to run until the end of September 2025 with the potential to be extended. The role offers up to 38hrs per week.
