Our government client is seeking an experienced Storeperson with a Forklift Licence to work in their Potts Hill warehouse. The role involves moving and storing materials and using the system to support.
 
The main duties of the role:

• Coordinate, sort, move, load, unload, issue and receive materials by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment.
• Unpack, count, weigh and sort materials received by the warehouse to ensure delivery is correct.
• Inspect items and communicate information about damage goods and report overages and shortages and perform loss prevention activities.
• Maintain computerise stock inventory and keep material secure, organised and clean.

Essential criteria:

• Warehouse experience.
• Forklift Licence.
• Medium computer skills (SAP system skills for warehouse beneficial)
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work safely
• Reliable

This is an expected 8-week assignment with the potential to be extended. The work hours are 7.6 hours per day / 38 hours per week.
