Our government client is seeking a Project Quality Representative for road maintenance and construction projects throughout the Wagga Wagga area.
The role may require some working outside of regular working hours and travel to various locations within the state. Some living away from home may happen during the working week with allowances, and accommodation paid.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
Complete quality audit checklists at site with Team Leaders and complete administration requirements for the quality system.
Ensure correct safe work method statements are being used for the various site activities.
Complete asset data collection on recordable items.
Solve routine problems that arise, refer to standard guidelines and manuals, and collaborate with supervisors and managers to resolve problems and minimise risks.
Guide team members and develop capability to ensure team tasks are completed effectively.
Understand and maintain knowledge of WHS legislation, policies and procedures.
Understand and follow environmental procedures, including identifying and reporting environmental hazards, rectifying simple hazards without direction.
The essential criteria for this role includes:
Current unrestricted NSW driver’s licence.
General Construction Induction White Card.
Workers of Foot ticket (or willing to obtain).
Ability to work in close proximity to traffic.
Ability to effectively communicate with members of the public, external providers and staff at all levels in both oral and written form.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
