• $44.51 per hour

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from highly skilled Industrial Painters/Blasters for upcoming work across Northern NSW. Join a government-backed project working on crucial infrastructure with competitive pay, an immediate start, and the potential for long-term opportunities for successful candidates. Weekly accommodation is provided (Mon-Fri), with varying site locations. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to work across different sites. Key accountabilities:

• Blast & paint in containment
• Blasting lead paints on Steel Bridges
• Sandblasting
• Airless Painting
• Stripe Coating
• Knowledge of Jotun paints
• Operation of compressors
• Air preps
• Vacuum System
• Establishing Ducting
• Assisting with construction of Containment

Essential requirements:

• Cert III Surface Preparation
• Current Work at Heights
• Current Forklift & EWP tickets
• Construction safety White Card
• Solid experience in application of industrial coatings with Airless Spray units to DFT Specs
• Good knowledge and skills in use of plant, equipment & hand tools
• Pride in your workmanship
• A confident & mature work ethic
• Ability to work in a team or as an individual as required
• Understanding and respect for WHS requirements
• Willingness & ability to carry out all facets of project works
• General building skills & awareness

 
This assignment with run for 6 months with the potential to be extended.
