Multiple Opportunities - Business Development Executives | Brisbane CBD
 
701 Recruitment is currently recruiting multiple Business Development Officer positions for a leading provider of sustainable waste management solutions across Australia.
 
Based in Brisbane CBD, these are predominantly on-the-road Business Development roles, focused on getting out in the field, meeting prospective clients, building relationships and generating new business. This is not an office-based BD position — you will be out meeting businesses, door knocking, attending appointments and developing new opportunities across Queensland.
 
We are looking for self-motivated, confident and driven individuals who enjoy being out on the road, building relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Conduct cold calling, door knocking and face-to-face client meetings
• Regularly travel to meet prospective and existing clients
• Identify customer needs and develop tailored waste management solutions
• Develop an understanding of the waste industry and relevant disposal regulations
• Generate solution-focused proposals aligned with customer requirements
• Develop new business opportunities across Queensland
• Manage existing client relationships and identify opportunities for growth

About You:

• Experience in sales, business development or customer service
• Confident, proactive and motivated personality
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable with cold calling, door knocking and generating new business
• Enjoys an on-the-road role with regular client visits and face-to-face meetings
• Solution-focused with a professional approach
• Industry experience in waste, industrial, medical or pharmaceutical is advantageous
• Willing to undergo a National Police Check
