Civil Plant Operators Wanted | Major Solar Farm Project | 3rd August 2026 Commencement 
 
701 Recruitment is partnering with a leading civil contractor delivering works on the Smoky Creek Solar Farm project kicking off on 3rd August 2026. We're seeking experienced civil operators and labourers to join the team on a major renewable energy project.
 
With multiple positions available, this is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work on a well-established project.
 
We are currently seeking:

• Watercart Operators
• Moxy Operators 
• Roller Operators
• GPS Excavator Operators (20T-36T)
• GPS & UTS Grader Operators
• General Civil Labourers (roller and/or watercart tickets highly regarded)

What's on offer:

• Ongoing project work 
• Monday to Saturday roster (6 days on, 1 day off) 
• 10.5-hour days
• Great team environment
• Opportunity to work on a major renewable energy project

To be successful, you'll have:

• Previous civil construction experience
• Relevant RII tickets for relevant machine operating positions
• Relevant plant operating experience for the role you're applying for
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• GPS experience essential for Excavator and Grader positions
• UTS experience required for Grader Operators
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
